Community Health Needs Assessment Reports
Mass General Brigham has a system-wide strategy to improve patient outcomes and experience, which is supported by our historical and ongoing commitment to digital health and data analytics, population health, and outpatient care.
We seek ways to deliver care in suburban settings through developing community-based care centers that offer primary and behavioral health care, as well as specialty and surgical services.
To fully understand the range of needs of patients, Mass General Brigham conducted community health needs assessments (CHNA). These studies are aimed at identifying the most pressing social, economic, and health issues in the service area by aiming to:
- Systematically identify the health-related needs, strengths, and resources of the service area to inform future planning
- Understand the current health status of residents within the service area, as well as sub-populations within their social context
- Engage the community to help determine community needs and social determinant of health needs.
